The prototype of 2017 Volkswagen Atlas which was showcased in 2016 Los Angeles Auto Show has proven to be the German automaker’s largest SUV till date. Not just in dimensions but the Atlas SUV is equipped with impressive capabilities as well. This new SUV is based on Volkswagen’s MQB platform and shares MLB2 underpinnings.
2017 Volkswagen Atlas – Styling and Colors:
In terms of styling, the 2017 Volkswagen Atlas looks like a bolder version of Volkswagen Passat. This full-sized SUV wears a clean and sensible design which is all part of Volkswagen ongoing signature styling. There’s nothing outrageous in the front fascia; the multi-functioning headlights perfectly aligns with the 2-slab grille.
The rugged plastic cladding is heavy on the front bumper. These plastic covering continue in the wheel arches and entire body edges. Up top, oblong utility roof rails convey a sporty character.
