2018 Toyota Fortuner – Design Specs
The Toyota Fortuner has been popular in South Asian terrains due to its tough bodywork and practicability. The 2018 Toyota Fortuner will continue to be built on the ladder-frame chassis which holds together the major sections of the vehicle body and provides great endurance. The addition of huge dampers also makes the Fortuner tougher on challenging terrains. Smooth edges are all over the body of the Fortuner while the front fascia looks imposing. Small, not-so-fancy grilles are flanked by long angular LED daytime running headlights. The fog lights don both sides of the huge bumper along with air vents.
A straight roofline and narrower side windows give a no-nonsense look to the crossover along with the slightly squared arches over wheels. The vehicle stands tall on 18-inch alloy wheels.
Compared to other crossovers in the class, the 2018 Toyota Fortuner looks less luxurious. Yet a lot of premium materials have been used for the interior design of the vehicle. The leather cover for seats and steering wheel and state-of-the-art driving controls will be available to drivers. An 8-inch touchscreen will let you play with the Toyota StarLink infotainment via voice recognition along with standard features like Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity, USB ports, satellite navigation, digital radio and smartphone integration.
The drivers will have multiple controls on the tilt and telescopic steering wheel, a follow-me-home function and a start-stop button. However the safety features include adequate airbags for all passengers, automatic braking assist, traction and stability control, hill assist control, parking sensors, rear view cameras and lane guiding sensors.
