The new 2018 Nissan Pathfinder has gone through a lot of transformation since its inception in 1985. Despite having its limitations, sales have always been solid for this Japanese vehicle. So, it’s quite natural to expect a brand new model to hit the U.S markets by late September of 2017. The Nissan at present is selling their Pathfinder as a midsize crossover SUV and rumor has it that the newest version is going to come with a fresh design upgrade.

The headlights seem to have shrunk in size although possible new LEDs will also come as standard. Newly designed body colored bumpers will be added to make a more aerodynamic stance. This is done by introducing more prominent V-shaped accents. Its wheels will possibly be of 18-inch dimensions, but a 20-inch version might just be added for a sportier look. The Nissan Pathfinder will also feature stiffer shocks and springs for a more tight suspension setup.

The side airbags for front driver and passenger are provided to ensure maximum safety. They have even fitted airbags on pathfinder’s roof so that damage from that part is also mitigated. A super dependable Traction Control System will be added to the car for superior driver control. On being in control, a highly intelligent cruise control system is made available for smoother long distance cruising. An automatic braking system for reduced impact on collision will be added to both front and rear of this crossover. Other features like a rear camera for assistance in parking, rear traffic alert and sonar system are also going to come loaded in 2018 Nissan Pathfinder.
