With the addition of advanced powertrain, the new Montero would be rating at 25 mpg on a single charge. The normal petrol engine would also provide a decent 30 mpg combined. Similar to some other premium SUVs of the same class, the 2018 Mitsubishi Montero will come with an all-wheel drive system.

The famous for towing and other heavy duty purposes, the Mitsubishi will take on the likes of Toyota C-HR, Mazda C-3 and very popular Land Rover R4 with its launch.
Finally, the Mitsubishi Montero is expected to be launched at the end of 2017. It is already being termed as an affordable alternative of Land Rover’s R4 and is likely to be priced at around $50,000.
