Like any other Lincoln range of automobiles, the 2018 Lincoln MKC also promises to provide driving pleasure and value for money. With a reputation so huge, the Ford-based Lincoln automobiles intend to make the new MKC more fuel efficient and give its customers the feel of a comfortable SUV at an affordable price. The even sportier MKC will sport new engines and drivetrain along with a host of interior and exterior changes. Competing against its elder sibling MKX, the 2018 Lincoln MKC has got a 4 cylinder engine against the V6 engines in the former. In terms of equipment’s, MKX is more advanced as compared to the MKC. But the two models are targeted for 2 different sets of customers, according to Lincoln.
2018 Lincoln MKC – Cosmetic Changes:
Although not much has still surfaced about the external changes in 2018 Lincoln MKC, it is expected to get larger meshed grilles and centered logo. A redesigned style set to make it more luxurious has been added to this vehicle. More advanced LED lighting is aimed to provide a classy look to this vehicle. Also, a range of hue options will be on offer to choose from.
The Lincoln MKC 2018 is also expected to be available in the same trim levels as its earlier version. To ensure maximum safety to the passengers, Lincoln has included a host of new features along with the already existing ones. Lane avoidance facility together with the Crash Avoidance feature prevents the car from changing lanes and prevents potential damage.

2018 Lincoln MKC – Engine Output:
The 2018 Lincoln MKC has a more advanced engine ability and hence better performance. The new engine is 2.0 liters V6 along with direct fuel injection to enable it to compete with BMW X1 and Audi Q5. This is coupled with a 6-speed automatic transmission.
Lincoln is expected to release 2 versions of the same vehicle. The FWD version will produce a 240 HP and AWD version with 2,3 liter will churn out 285 HP. The former is expected to give a mileage of 20 mpg in city and 29 mpg on the highway. AWD version, however, will give an expected 18 mpg in city and 26 mpg on the highway. Both variants will be equipped with Ford’s Ecosystem which is a deliberate attempt to reduce Greenhouse transmissions by 15%.
Release Date and Price:
Primarily aimed towards the comfort hungry passengers, the 2018 Lincoln MKC is a stylish new family crossover. No definite date has chosen for the release of this new MKC yet. It’s rumored to be released by the 1st half of 2017. But the European, Canadian and the Australian markets might receive their shipments towards the end of 2017. The base model MKX is expected to be priced at around $33,800.
