Lamborghini Urus 2018 Review

The Lamborghini CEO, Maurizio Reggiani confirmed during the concept presentation in Geneva Motor Show that Lamborghini Urus 2018 model will be one of the fastest and most dynamic SUVs in the world. The new SUV stands high above its competitors, considering that it is the company’s first and only luxury SUV ever produced. It is lightweight and has the most aggressive styling alongside a robust engine.

Lamborghini Urus 2018 – Rakish Design:

The production version of the Urus preserves the concept’s rakish exterior design, but its interior becomes much more conventional and comfort-oriented. The automaker has effected minor adjustments to the exterior design. The new model sheds as much weight as possible to improve the overall performance and efficiency. The reports have it that Urus rides on the same MLB 2 platform as the Audi Q7 and Bentayga, but the automaker intends to substitute the steel components with carbon fiber bits and pieces.

The Lamborghini Urus 2018 model is going to be re-engineered to accept a battery pack along with the electric motors. Nevertheless, it remains strictly four-wheel drive in the quest to maintain its authentic off-road capabilities. The Urus not only delivers Lamborghini levels of emotion but also capable of handling open and congested roads. It has an impressive comfort, drivability, roominess, and more.

Exterior Specification:

Overall, the Lamborghini Urus 2018 showcases real Lamborghini performance and efficacy. It comes with hard angles and an aggressive styling, which is exactly what Lamborghini buyers need. The standard exterior design of the new Urus SUV is identical to the Aventador but crafted on a higher scale.

The Lamborghini Urus 2018 front bumper highlights a large air intake in addition to the Y-shaped LED headlights, which are somewhat smaller than the coupe. Its exterior comes with slightly exaggerated rear wheel shafts and heat extractors set behind the front wheels. The body rides on 24-inches double-spoke rims made from aluminum and finished in matte. At the back view, you will find stylized taillights and four exhaust exits, two on either side.

Interior Specification:

The cabin carries four separate seats and tons of luxury equipment. It comes with a multi-functional steering wheel designed to command the turn signals, lights, and wipers. The cabin also hosts a large infotainment screen that extends from the shifters to the dashboard. The model has an excellent reputation courtesy of the amalgamation of top quality materials, modern gadgets and high-quality leather in the interior design.

Lamborghini Urus 2018 – Powertrain and Performance:

The automaker apparently intends to offer something that is entirely unique and that can create a clear-cut difference from its rivals. The new SUV carries a twin turbocharged 4.0-liter V-8 gasoline engine with 600 HP under the hood.

There’s not much info regarding the output, save for the fact that Lamborghini Urus 2018 is the world’s fastest and lightest SUV available. Its key rival is Bentley Bentayga that executes a whopping 600 HP. But, the new Urus goes beyond this figure as it can accelerate from o to 62 mpg in just under 4 seconds. We also expect to find an all-wheel drive with some dual clutch transmission and new traction system.
