The newest 2019 Infiniti QX50 is a compact luxury SUV that will hit the markets with many refreshments. Almost everything, except the name, is new and fresh. This model was firstly introduced in 2008 and over the years it gained larger dimension and more powerful engine.
In the last couple of years, QX50 was a more sporty vehicle like a hatchback and less SUV. Everything changes with the 2019 model as this luxurious crossover SUV carries a new exclusive platform. The cabin is roomier as a result, and the latest safety features are included. Take a look at Infiniti’s latest model.
2019 Infiniti QX50 is Modern and Stylish
Although almost everything is new, some old design cues could be found on 2019 Infiniti QX50. For an instance, the shape of the front grille is unchanged, just like the LED strip at the top of the headlights. Down below, a larger air dam sits, and corner vents are larger as well.
The hood looks exceptional, modern and stylish. At the side, wheel arches look flared and to the rear, the taillights are significantly narrower. The power liftgate and 19-inch wheels are standard, same as LED headlights and taillights. LED fog lamps and auto-dimming rearview mirror are optional.
2019 Infiniti QX50 Interior with the latest Tech
The cabin of 2019 Infiniti QX50 will feature latest technology amenities like tri-zone climate control and 17-speaker Bose audio system. Leather seating is available in all models, and we personally like the blue Ultrasuede interior trim. Front seats are 8-way power adjustable, and there is a power-operated panoramic moonroof as an option on Luxe model. Essential trim offers the newest navigation system, parking sensors, remote engine start and rain-sensing wipers.
The dashboard nicely blends with the door trim panels and there are plenty of soft-touch surfaces. Dual infotainment display comes with numerous function controls that will replace numerous buttons. The instrument cluster is semi-digital, and on higher trims is all-digital.
Despite everything, the 2019 Infiniti QX50 will remain on the smaller side of luxury SUVs.
However, this 2-row/5-passenger model has grown from the inside as the legroom is now 38.7 inches. Cargo room is also spacious, from 50 to over 65 cubic feet. Furthermore, those figures put QX50 at the top of its class.
2019 Infiniti QX50 Engine Specs
The forthcoming 2019 Infiniti QX50 is using a latest VC technology, and Infiniti is proud of the fact that it is a first carmaker that finally solves the puzzle and introduces a production of this latest technology. The 2.0-liter VC-Turbo gasoline drivetrain with four cylinders can produce 268 HP and 280 lb-ft of torque.
The outgoing model is using a V6 with 325 HP, so many will ask what is the fuzz with that thing called VC?! Well, the VC technology is drastically improving efficiency without any need to sacrifice power. The number of torques is increased and miles-per-gallon rating is improved as well.
