Since its introduction in the American market back in 1989, Nissan has made impressive sales record with their Infiniti car model. The manufacturer has set itself some big targets for the next few years. One of them is the release of the QX30 car model which was unveiled at the 2015 Frankfurt Auto Show. The car will be produced for the 2017 model year and shares the same design platform with the Mercedes-Benz GLA-Class. Nissan is planning to expand their international market for their SUVs and they will be offering the 2017 Infiniti QX30 in the U.S, Europe, and China.
The luxury Infiniti QX30 compact crossover will be entering a competitive market segment with rivals such as BMW X1 and Mercedes-Benz GLA. Consumers should expect a sporty and bold exterior body design as well as a classy interior cabin. It will be offered in three trim levels including the base QX30, QX30 Sport, and QX30 AWD.
2017 Infiniti QX30 – Sharp and Attractive Design:
The upcoming QX30 is going to benefit from the Infiniti’s designing featuring sweeping curves and sharp exterior angles. Furthermore, this model will be offering in several exterior colors including Black Obsidian, Blade Silver, Chestnut Bronze, Asgard Grey, Ink Blue, Liquid Copper, Magnetic Red, Majestic White and Malbec Black. The external chassis adopts high strength steel and lightweight aluminum materials which improve the car’s aerodynamic performance and fuel efficiency. The sporty exterior design profile is complemented by thin A-pillars and low-slung roofline. The 2017 Infiniti QX30 comes with bold wheel arches which complement the massive 19-inch aluminum alloy wheels that the car rides on.

The front end presents a new style bumper, revised grille, HID LED headlights, fog lights, and enhanced air intakes. Other standard interior components for the 2017 Infiniti QX30 also include; 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment screen, Infiniti’s InTouch technology, Wi-Fi integration, automatic climate control, air conditioner, premium Bose 10-speaker audio system with compatible USB port interface, Bluetooth smartphone and audio integration, Satellite radio, MP3/MP4/CD player among others. When it comes to safety and driver assistance, the car comes with intelligent cruise control, line departure warning system, blind spot warning system, parking assists, rear view camera, premium airbags and safety belts.
2017 Infiniti QX30 – Engine and Transmission:
The 2017 Infiniti QX30 will be powered by an all-new 2.0 liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. This motor is rated at 208 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque. Furthermore, it will be mated to 7-speed dual clutch transmission that will send power to standard (FWD) or an optional (AWD). The car is capable of attaining the 60 mph mark within 7 sec and comes with two select drives modes; Eco, Sport and, Manual. There is still no reliable information on the QX30’s top speed and EPA performance.
2017 Infiniti QX30 – MSRP and Availability Date:
Nissan has not yet provided the official details regarding the car’s release date and pricing. However, consumers are highly anticipating that the 2017 Infiniti QX30 will be released by the end of this year. The manufacturer’s suggested retail price will be around $31,000.
