With many years of automobile production, the Japanese manufacturer is yet back again with the 2018 Honda H-RV. The Honda aficionados agree that the company has been remodeling almost the entire lineup of its vehicles. So, to say, the next coming years will see Honda have new models from the old productions. The Honda H-RV was first incepted into the market back in the year 1998. This subcompact crossover SUV made a good entry in the market only for the production to be halted eight years after. The second generation of the Honda H-RV was released in 2014 as a 5-door SUV. Be it due to high sales or a wide fan base, the Honda is not planning on facing out this model as there are plans to release the 2018 model.
2018 Honda H-RV – Sporty Look
The Honda HR-V can be defined as a sporty, versatile and personal multi-dimensional vehicle. Many anticipate that the 2018 Honda H-RV will retain or equally have modified features of the 2017 model. About its interior, lovers of vivid colors may be disappointed. Only gray and black versions are available. The car can comfortably accommodate five people. Apart from updated technology, no much alterations from the 2017 interior model are expected.
The exterior of the 2018 model has a lot done. To begin, it comes in three trim levels namely LX, EX-L and EX. Each trim has a wide range of colors including crystal black pearl, misty green pearl, Milano red, and silver metallic. Its height, width, length as well as a 17-inch wheelbase are said to be similar to the 2017 model. The rear part won’t get many refreshments. However, the fascia has undergone some minor updates.
Like various other vehicles of this fold, the 2018 Honda H-RV features several exciting safety options. Some of them are adjustable suspensions, traction and stability control, antilock disc brakes and inboard airbags, safety when driving this model is not an issue.
Engine and Performance
As mentioned earlier, no much changes will be effected in this model compared to the previous version. The engine is not an exception. That said, the 2018 Honda H-RV takes up the previous model lineup. The 1.8 liters inline four will be available. This engine generates up to 145 HP and 127 lb-ft of torque. The transmission system is certainly optional. However, the HR-V is mated to a six-speed manual gearbox or CVT. Therefore, customers will have to choose between a front and all-wheel drive system.
MSRP and Release Date
The 2018 Honda H-RV is anticipated to have a price tag starting above $20,500 like its predecessor. Arguably, this is affordable even on a tight budget for many. However, the model is not expected to hit the market soon with predictions for its release being sometime in 2018.
