2019 Ford EcoSport – Body and Cosmetics
The 3rd generation 2019 Ford EcoSport has gone through a considerable overhaul but still bears a few similarities with the old version. Its exterior design reflects two highly prominent car models from Ford, such as Edge or Escape. Michael O’ Brien, Ford CEO in charge of large SUVs, says the new EcoSport would draw high interest among buyers. He added, “The EcoSport is built to impress with highly positioned seats and doors alongside an aggressive exterior design.”
The inbound EcoSport has received a tremendous facelift that would help modernize its appearance. A few interesting details on the 2019 Ford EcoSport would make it worthy and attractive to younger buyers. Given that most young buyers aren’t thrilled with large vehicles with high fuel consumption, Ford has touched on the most exciting things about the EcoSport.
A lot of aspects on this SUV are designed to impress even the most spoiled buyers. These include the rhomboidal gridded front grille, plastic bottom, large LED lights, and large fog lamps. At the rear end is a massive volume of space enough for stowing bikes and luggage for long-distance trips.
Cabin with plenty of novelties
The cabin section of the next-gen EcoSport has received the most alterations and adjustments in addition to plenty of novelties. The current demand for Sync 3 system is high. Ford has supplied this model with the Sync 3 system that supports Google Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
Additionally, Michael did mention that the company would avail the highest Titanium trim with an exclusive audio system known as B&Q audio system. The purported system is also made from Hartman and comprises such things as two USB ports, ten speakers, and 12-volt power port. For your comfort and sheer enjoyment, the 2019 Ford EcoSport gets an exceptionally designed interior with leather-wrapped seats.
2019 Ford EcoSport – Engine and Transmission
The inbound 2019 Ford Ecosport edition is going to feature an EcoBoost 1.0-liter 3-cylinder motor as standard. It will produce around 123 horsepower. There’s also the likelihood of an optional 2.0-liter direct-injected 4-cylinder petrol engine. This one makes 167 horsepower with 149 lb-ft of torque. We have no detailed information yet. So we aren’t sure whether or not the EcoSport is fast enough to rival the Jeep Renegade and Chevrolet Trax. We might have to wait a little longer for new information since the car is in prototype form.
