The 2018 Chevy Captiva is set to offer many updates, assuring an increase in the automaker’s marketplace. The 2018 Chevy Captiva will maintain the sporty look from its predecessor, with some modification being applied to make it curvy and more attractive. From the front, an inverted-like large grille will be visible. On either side of the massive grille will be wide headlights which will operate based on the new LED technology. An extensive bumper will cover the lower part, with fog lights fitted on both edges for increased visibility during foggy weather conditions. The 2018 Chevy Captiva will have a spacious cabin, making it capable of accommodating five passengers comfortably. The seats will be comfortable and made of fine cloth. Leather upholstery will be used to form the seats and power steering wheel coating. Up to date, features will be installed in the cabin. Furthermore, these include steering wheel audio controllers, Bluetooth, USB and Wi-Fi connectivity, radio data method, CD game player, navigation aids including Google Maps and a 6-speaker quality sound system. Engine and Performance
The new 2018 Chevy Captiva will feature a standard 2.4-liter engine producing 182 horsepower and 172 lb-ft of torque. The second variant will be a 3.0-liter V-6 petrol engine that will have an output of up to 264 horsepower. The engine will be linked up with a six-speed automatic transmission gearbox module.
The standard drivetrain will deploy the front wheel drive configuration while higher trim models will have the all wheel drivetrain. However, it will have an impressive acceleration power from 0-60 miles per hour in 9.1 seconds. The fuel efficiency will be able to offer 19 miles per gallon on the road.
Availability Date and Price
Finally, the Chevy Captiva is going to be released to the market and showrooms in early 2018. Upon release, the base trim will have a starting price of around $24,000. The other trims will vary up to $40,000 for the super trim.
