2017 Chevy Traverse LTZ, Redesign, Changes, MSRP, Release Date

The 2017 Chevy Traverse stands out among other models such as Acadia. This is due to its unique design language. The automaker has been making impressive sales record with the current Traverse car model, especially in the North American market. To keep up with the stiff competition in the SUV market, the Chevrolet will be updating this model for the 2017-year model. You should expect elegant exterior and interior redesigning.

2017 Chevy Traverse – Exterior Redesign:

The Chevrolet Traverse model is already in its 8th generation. However, it still holds up to its original exterior style. The upcoming model will maintain the company’s luxurious design language with some impressive upgrades. It adopts a traditional SUV styling with a blocky shape. The body chassis adopts lightweight aluminum materials in combination with high strength steel. The lightweight chassis designing helps in reducing the car’s overall weight hence improving aerodynamic power and fuel economy. Its rear end appears more elegant with revised grille, new sporty bumper featuring larger air intakes for better engine cooling. The 2017 Chevrolet Traverse will be fitted with more powerful LED headlights and taillights. You should also expect new fog lights for better illumination during rainy periods. Premier models like the LTZ comes with sportier rear end featuring dual exhaust tip styling.

Interior Changes:

The 2017 Chevy Traverse boasts of a spacious cabin with 3-row seating framework. This makes it an ideal family car. The base LS models come with quality cloth upholstering and manually adjustable seats. The new Chevy Traverse will be powered by a VVT 3.6 liter DOHC V6 engine. This powertrain is capable of generating up to 281 horsepower and 266 lb-ft of torque. It will feature direct injection and offered in the single exhaust system and dual exhaust system. The LTZ trim level will be provided with dual exhaust with improved output of 288 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque. The 2017 Chevy Traverse will be feature a 6-speed automatic system routed to either front wheel drive (FWD) system or all-wheel drive framework.

2017 Chevy Traverse – MSRP and Estimate Date of Release:

The Chevrolet has not provided the official information regarding the car’s release date and price. However, the pricing will not vary much from the current model. Its consumers should expect the base 2017 Chevy Traverse LS version to have manufacturer’s suggested retail price of 32,000 while the 1LT and 2LT trims will be priced at about $34,000 and $ 37,000 respectively. Finally,  the LTZ begins with the price of $43.000.
