2018 Audi Q4 – Elegance Design

Based on the Audi TT platform, the 2018 Audi Q4 is expected to pack elegance along with the appropriate corrections and enhancements that will make it far more appealing and a great alternative to the existing Q3. At the same time, being a cross-over, it goes without saying that it will not have the same size with an SUV, like the Q5 for instance. What we do expect it to have, however, is the customs that a company in Audi’s league promises.

The medial of the 2018 Audi Q4 does not fall far from the mentioned Q5. Twitches, of course, will be made as it happens to all new models. What changes this time, is that the German automotive manufacturer went for a bit more space for passengers, by adding the option to collapse the back-middle chair. Features such as Wi-Fi, Wireless Bluetooth, GPS and infotainment technique with six speakers are also included. And let’s not forget to mention the display, that will be placed on the middle system and will provide data on gas and oil levels as well as zone heating and cooling options. There’s more to that but the company is trying its best to keep it secret from the public for the time being.

As for the exterior, you can expect 21-inch alloy wheels, the unique Audi chromed grille, clamshell hood, the classic LED headlights and a breath-taking tail summary.

Engine and Performance

The powertrain is a key ingredient for the 2018 Audi Q4. The company has reportedly chosen to go with a 2.0-liter TFSI five-cylinder lump under the hood, aggregating to a total of 288 HP. To put it in numbers, that’s 62mph in 4.1 seconds. However, keep in mind that in this case there is an electronic limiter that won’t let you go over 155 mph.

Now, those number will apparently vary in the upcoming Q4, due to factors such as weight etc. But on the other hand, thanks to the rapid technological advance, we could even see the company boosting the engine to over 300 hp. Everything is possible. The only thing we know for certain is that the car will come with Audi’s seven-speed S-tronic dual clutch gearbox and standard all-wheel drives.

Availability and Price Expected

The release date of the 2018 Audi Q4 remains unknown for now. However, we do know that when it’s released its price will probably start at $40,000, while a sporty or a full extra version could go all the way up to $50,000.
