2018 Audi Q2 – Built on Volkswagen’s MQB Platform
Known worldwide for its superior car engineering, the Audi has been revolutionizing vehicle design with its Q series SUVs. This 5-door 2018 Audi Q2 will be built on Volkswagen’s MQB platform that follows a new design concept to be adopted in all Q-series Audi crossovers. The front grille is octagonal in shape with massive chrome outlines. This follows the polygon template used almost everywhere this upcoming model. Wedge-shaped LED headlights are studded on the side of a wide grille. The bumper also gets chrome linings along with large air vents on its far ends. Chrome highlights at the rear bumpers engulf the twin exhaust pipes.
The hexagonal sculpting has been used on the side doors and a sloping roofline ensures better aerodynamics. The Q2 will also feature a C-pillar color blade. Extensive use of high-strength steel and aluminum on the body will keep the overall weight low and increase fuel efficiency.
Some vibrant color choices will be provided – ibis white, vegas yellow, titanium gray, nano gray, brilliant black and glacier white to name a few. The new Q2 will be available in 2 trims. The base trim will stand on 17-inch alloy wheels with an option of 18-inch wheels for higher trims.

Furthermore, the top end air conditioning system, satellite navigation, multiple USB ports and smartphone integration facility will be provided.
Satin chrome lines on the dashboard add to the luxury quotient of the cabin. Following the latest global trend, the Audi Q2 will also have ambient LED lighting features inside the cabin. Its design details resemble those of the Q5. The drivers will have ease in driving as well as controls with the 12.3-inch virtual cockpit screen that retracts into the dashboard.
